Saving an embedded graphic from Outlook Express
If you've ever wanted to save an embedded graphic in an OE email, you know that right clicking on it gives you a gibberish code instead of the real file name and it can drive you nuts.
Mary from Greece taught me how to save them with the correct file name. I don't necessarily like this technique but it's the only one I've found to work. Thanks Mary!
Open the email with the embedded graphic.
Click on Forward.
Make sure to have Source Edit selected by going to View>Source Edit.
Three tabs will appear at the bottom of the email window. Click on Source.

Back to the Menu at the top of the screen.
Format > Plain Text.
File > Save Attachments
Now you can save the embedded graphics by their real file names instead of unintelligible code. |
