INNOCENT FRAME

Hi Everyone,
Well seeing as you all like to do tuts, I wrote one today and am in the process of learning how to turn it into a script. I have had a couple of people try it and they found it fun but challenging LOL. So I thought why not give all of you a crack at it. I have included the original of the pic below for you to use if you so desire. It is long so follow the instructions carefully.

This is what you should come up with.

First of all my biggest problem was getting the drop shadows in the right place. I think this could be done with a tube but not sure. You will need a gradient (I used metal brass) and a dark foreground color for your picture, I used 555a56, and will you will use for your pattern the framed picture after you complete the first part of step 13.
First select a picture no more than 400 in height.

1. Add borders of 5 px in white.

2 Select borders with magic wand tolerance and feather set to zero, rest are defaults as I didn't change any of them

3. Choose a gradient, I used Metal brass with these options
Angle 90
Repeats 5
all the rest are defaults and the Horizontal is 50 and the Vertical is 50

4. Apply Inner bevel with these options
Inner bevel option 2
Width 8
Smoothness 16
Depth 6
Ambience 5
Shininess 5
Angle 315
Intensity 44
Elevation 35
Color white
This will be was used each time I use the gradient.

5. Now I inverted selection and applied the drop shadow.
Drop Shadow
Black This should put the shadow in the top left corner if I have the numbers right
H = -1
V = -1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 3

6 Drop shadow again using white and this should put the color in the bottom right had corner.
V = 1
H = 1
Opacity = 100
Blur = 1
