Xero - Titanium

Xero is definitely one of my favorite Plugin Sets. I love playing with these plugins just to see what I can do with the effects.

"Titanium is another 'metal' effect, but it's less colourful and less extreme than the Iridium filter. The controls are a lot simpler, too... "   Review and download Titanium here. It is part of Set 4.

Titanium works on both background (flat) images and raster layers.

This is not really a tutorial, but a quick series of examples and settings I used to come up with some interesting effects.

To understand how this filter works, I started with a simple text image on a new layer - using Vivian font, with a black outline and a denim pattern fill.

For a metallic look, I used the settings below... making sure that Extreme is checked.

For a washed out, faded denim effect, I used the following settings, selecting Subtle instead.

Ghost
This is one of my favorite photos - For a ghostly effect, soft and misty I used the settings below:

I got carried away with this wonderful plugin.
A third colorful image was too tempting not to open and tweak with Titanium.

I doubt that there's any way to take this plugin to its limits.  I won't give you all the how-to's with this plugin.  But I sure encourage you to open it and play with it and tweak it for some wonderful effects.
