WORKSPACE QUICKIE Customize your toolbar with your most frequently used tools on it and set up your desktop so that you are comfortable with it. 1) Right click on any toolbar or pallet and choose Customize.
Under the Commands Tab, in the left window, click on Image. Click and hold the Resize icon and drag it to any toolbar at the top of your screen. Move it to where it's convenient for you.
You can do this with any of the commands you use often.
 This is a compressed view of my toolbars on top with the icons o tools I use most often.... saves me from chasing commands in the Menu. Instead of going to Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow, I click the icon and the window pops up.
 When you have your workspace set up in a way you're comfortable with, your icons in a convenient place, the pallets you use all the time open and sized correctly, choose File > Workspace > Save. Give your workspace a name. The one I am using right now is called Vetch Daily. If your toolbars get messed up or your pallets disappear, you can reload your workspace and get everything back the way you saved it.
